4th Sunday of Lent (C)

Like the younger son in the Gospel, let us accept our sinfulness and return to the Lord:

-Lord, You showed us the Way to the Father in Heaven: Lord have mercy.

-Lord, You gave us a new life through the Spirit: Christ, have mercy.

-Lord, You invite us to Your supper for us to share in Your goodness and salvation: Lord, have mercy.

-May Almighty God….

3rd Sunday of Lent (C)

Sometimes, we just see the fault of others. Today, let us acknowledge our sins and ask for forgiveness to Our Lord.

-Lord, like others, we too are sinners: Lord have mercy.

-Lord, You are looking for the fruits of our repentance: Christ, have mercy.

-Lord, You forgive us and help us rise again: Lord, have mercy.

-May Almighty God….

2nd Sunday of Lent (C)

The Eucharist is the sacrament of our transfiguration. Together with Christ, we are asked to die to our sins so that we will rise to a new life. Let us ask God now for forgiveness of our sins.

-Lord Jesus, You are the Messiah who suffered much and was despised: Lord have mercy.

-Lord Jesus, You invite all of us to carry our cross and to follow You: Christ, have mercy.

-Lord Jesus, after Your sufferings, You were glorified by the Father: Lord, have mercy.

-May Almighty God….

Penetential Rite for the 1st Sunday of Lent (C)

1^st Sunday of Lent (C)

Our Lord Jesus said: “Turn away from sin, and believe the Gospel”. All of us sinned and we need renewal. Let us acknowledge our sinfulness and ask God for mercy.

-Lord Jesus, in You there is the fullness of time, and the fulfillment of God’s promise: Lord have mercy.

-Lord Jesus, You told us to accept the kingdom of God by turning away from sin: Christ, have mercy.

-Lord Jesus, You were triumphant over temptation of the devil by Your obedience to the Father: Lord, have mercy.
